I have about 10 portrait sessions to blog so I am just going to start at the beginning and get them all posted over the course of the next week or so. :-)

Meet Evan and his mom and dad. We all go to church together and I have really enjoyed getting to know this sweet family. Little Evan has grown so much since I first met him– which includes him now walking all over the place. He is such a little cutie I enjoyed photographing him– and mom and dad. :-)

If you are a regular blog reader you might be a bit confused as you look around. Have no fear, you are in the right place, but clearly there have been a lot of changes since your last visit!  As you probably know, I have been shooting under the Erin Fults Photographer brand for the past few years. It has been quite a ride that has included a lot of learning and the occasional bump along the way. Many of you have supported me and been my cheerleaders along the way and I am humbled and grateful for you!

The road has taken a new turn and I am really excited to launch and introduce you to Acorn Studio! Why the change you may ask? The idea for Acorn has been a long time coming. In short– the Acorn story and mission is the fruition of the last few years of experimentation with a healthy dose of trial and error which have led me to ‘house’ all of my portrait offerings under the Acorn Studio brand.  I would love it if you would take a look at the new website and read the full Acorn story.

In case you are wondering about weddings, I still plan to take on a limited number of weddings each year as my calendar allows. My 2011 wedding calendar is beginning to fill, so if you are a bride interested in wedding photography for 2011 give me a call or shoot me and email. :-)

I snagged them for a bit to grab some photos as has become a summer tradition when Julia comes to town. These girls are two peas in a pod and it is so fun seeing them grow up into such beautiful young ladies. :-)

Can you guess which is my sister? Everyone says we look alike. :-)

He turned one a few months ago and we finally were able to schedule his one year old session. Cole is such a cutie that is all over the place now that he is walking really well. He’s so funny because he always has to make sure both hands are full of whatever he can find— cups, spoons, rocks… I went over to hang out with he and his mommy and daddy for a bit last week. Cole will be a big brother in a few months. I am looking forward to getting the new Baby Dent in front of my camera soon. :-)

I cannot believe that he is now one, which means time for another portrait session! I meet up with Freeman and his mommy over at his house to play and take pictures for a bit a couple of weeks ago. Much to his daddy’s dismay, Freeman’s mommy had to get a few shots of him in a sweet little blue romper with knee socks. That was short lived and he had a wardrobe change into play clothes. :-)
