It was actually wonderful to finally meet Dani and Jeff in person because we had only communicated via phone, email and Skype since they live in TN. Dani put a lot of thought into all the details of their day. Even though it was an intimate event she made sure that their guests were comfortable with the ingredients for a good time. Planning a wedding long distance must be challenging but everything came together beautifully thanks to Lindsey and her team with dandyLion events.

Dani and Jeff, thank you for trusting me to photograph your beautiful wedding. I wish you both many blessings as you embark on married life together!

They will be married next month in LA and I am excited to travel down to shoot their wedding. They made a trip to Clinton back in July for their engagement session. I did, however, get the privilege of photographing their engagement session and I must say both Nikki and Matt were fabulous in front of the camera. They are so clearly in love and and I think that definitely came through in their images.

I am so far behind on blogging that Gage has already made his grand entrance into the world and I have photographed his newborn session, which I will blog in a few weeks. I’m really looking forward to continuing to get to know this sweet family over the next year as I have the privilege of documenting Gage’s first year of life. I love my job. :-)

I knew then that it was going to be a fabulous event and Carrie and Parker’s Galloway wedding and reception at The South this past Saturday did not disappoint.  Carrie was a stunning bride and though her dad affectionately described her as a true redhead she was quite laid back.  She and Parker were so happy to finally be getting married and for the celebration of it all.

Carrie and Parker, thank you both for having me be a part of your day! I wish you both the very best as you begin your married life together.

While I was getting a shot of all the men in Carrie’s life (Parker, her dad and brothers), Aaron got this. Love it!

 

Aaron took this shot as well while he rode the Fondren Trolley with the wedding party to the reception. There is something about the reflections and color that I love.

 

Megan with Fresh Cut did a fabulous job pulling off all the reception details.

Everyone danced the night away to the sounds of Meet the Press.

Haley and Chris chose to see each other before the ceremony which allowed for this beautiful moment.

 

The light in the Fairview suite where Haley got ready was just beautiful and I couldn’t resist shooting a few portraits there. Is she stunning or what?!

 

The cross on Haley’s bouquet had been worn in several generations of her family’s weddings and this was a beautiful way to incorporate it into her own.

So, a few weeks ago I met up with them in downtown Jackson for their session which included their fur babies– Jones and Joline. :-) The weather was beautiful, Jessica and John Paul were awesome in front of the camera and the dogs were very entertaining.
