A couple of Saturdays ago I had the privilege of shooting Anne and Will’s 1st Pres wedding. Though there was the threat of rain the day turned out beautifully. I have really enjoyed getting to know Anne and her mom over the past few months and was excited to finally meet Will, the lucky groom. Anne found me through one of her college friends, Austyn, whose wedding I shot last year, who happens to also be a dear friend of mine. It’s always fun having those kinds of connections.
The day went so smoothly and Anne goes on record as being the most laid back bride I have ever worked with. She and Will are precious together. I must say that I was happily surprised at their River Hills reception when not only they broke out in a choreographed swing number for their first dance but all of their family and friends were tearing up the dance floor all night. I think I saw more dips and pretzels at Anne and Will’s reception than every other wedding reception this year combined. It was really fun to watch.
Anne and Will, thanks so much for having me be a part of your day! I hope you are getting settled in Charleston and loving married life!
A quick shout out to Aaron Phillips for shooting with me and Kendall Poole over at River Hills Club did a fabulous job coordinating the beautiful reception!
