Last week it finally arrived. After several weeks of waiting for a shipping confirmation (gotta love back order) my studio lighting equipment was delivered in a rather large and heavy box. Bless the UPS man that brought it up the mountain of my driveway. If you are reading this and have seen any of my previous work you know that I have shot ’0′ studio work in the past. To be honest, it’s a bit funny to be where I am right now because over the course of the past few years I have said that shooting ‘in studio’ is not something I have any interest in doing–which was true at that point. However, in the past few months I have become interested in the possibilities of ‘in studio’ shooting and for a number of reasons have decided to give it a ‘go’.
So, last week when everything arrived I set it all up in my living room and shot a session with Emma for about an hour — which was a surprisingly long time for her to cooperate in front of my camera. Below are the results. I would love to know what you think!
Oh, and because this was a totally impromptu shoot, I quickly realized that I need to buy my child some clothes that are photo worthy. :-)
