This is the 3rd year in a row I have had the privilege to photograph the Johnston family. I have come to expect a phone call from BJ sometime at the beginning of December to schedule their session date. We usually have a short window of opportunity for the session while their oldest son Ryan is in town from California. (Ryan is a member of the band Goodbye Elliott, you should check them out).
A Johnston family photo session is unlike any other session I do throughout the course of the year. It is an event, no– an improv production, complete with props–which always includes groucho noses. This year the Johnston family photo production :-) took place the beginning of January.
