Ok, so I have been waiting to get a call telling me that it is all ready and I finally got the call yesterday. I was so excited! If you have been reading my blog for any length of time, like two weeks, you have seen the switch in my logo and blog header. After working back and forth with a designer friend of mine, Crystal Coleman, we finally finalized the logo and designs for new business cards, letterhead, notecards, etc… several weeks ago. After the designs were finalized I could finally send everything to be printed.
I had decided that I wanted to have everything printed on letterpress, which is a hand operated press from way back when that yields gorgeous print pieces. The paper that it is printed on is a thick, cotton paper that is absolute yumminess! When the design is printed it is pressed into the paper which gives the printed pieces a very tactile quality.
Well, I picked everything up this morning and I LOVE IT!! I’m so excited! Thank you Crystal and thank you Ed Inman with Inman Printing. Ed was great to work with and very accommodating with some requests I had for odd sized pieces that required custom dies.
And since it would be pointless to write all that without pictures. Here are my new business cards and notecards. Please don’t drool on your keyboard. :-)
