MEET HALEY+MATTHEW

This past weekend I went up to Starkville for the day to do an engagement session with Haley+Matthew. I had spoken to Haley on the phone a couple of times but this was our first time to meet and it was such a pleasure to meet them both!

Haley+Matthew met while working on their undergrad degrees at Mississippi State. Now they are both working on their graduate degrees, planning to finish in May, just in time for their wedding in June. We had a great time Saturday walking around State’s campus finding fun backdrops for images. The only request they had was that we get some pictures where Matthew had proposed to Haley back in November. I was happy to do so!

On campus there is a brick walkway area where people can purchase bricks and have them engraved with their names commemorating their contribution to the school, or whatever they use the funds for. The engraved bricks are laid once a year in the spring. Seeing that Matthew planned to propose to Haley in November he had to pull some strings to have five bricks laid the morning of the ‘big day’ that said “Haley, Will You Marry Me?” Is that not fun or what?!

So on to the images, here are a few of the many I took on Saturday. Haley+Matthew, I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding in June! I hope you enjoy the images.
