FELLOW BLOGGERS

I know several of you reading this are bloggers yourselves and I thought I would pass along this random piece of info. I have used a book making company called Blurb several times for personal photo books. Earlier this week I received one of their e-newsletters which highlighted some of the features of their latest free book editing software. One of the things it can do is pull all of your blog posts into the editing software so you can format it and have it printed in book form! Pretty cool.

I’m sure there are other book companies that offer this, but I think it’s a great idea–especially for those of you that have a family blog. Why make it harder than it has to be? Post on your blog and then every year or few months or whatever ‘slurp’ (as Blurb calls it) all your posts into a book to put on your shelf in lieu of putting together a scrapbook.

And since no blog post is complete without a picture, here is a random picture I took of the heart sugar cookies I made yesterday.

p.s. your cookies look great!February 7, 2009 - 4:35 pm

Christina Dent - even cookie pics are fabulous! :) Slurping my blog sounds like a much more time-efficient way than scrapbooking. i think i might scrapbook some stuff until I use a lot of my supplies and the rest of my books, and then I'll have to break into the technological scrapbooking arena b/c i just don't see myself having the time as life goes on.February 7, 2009 - 11:19 am
