“It happened fast. Just the way I like it!” Merilee’s description of she and Faris’s relationship– said jokingly. Merilee and Faris started dating in May, got engaged a few months later and are now married a few months after that. Although it happened quickly, Merilee says she and Faris talked more over the course of a few months than most couples do in a year since most of their relationship has been long distance.

If you have followed my blog at all over the last few months you will recognize these two from their engagement session not long ago. It was such a joy being part of their wedding day celebration on Saturday. Everything was relaxed and a great time had by all.

The reception was held at Vintage Court in Covington, LA, which was beautiful. Louisiana folk know how to party!

A special thanks to Lindsey Scott for making the trip with me on Saturday and assisting/second shooting– you did a fabulous job! Our road trip was a bit of an adventure. GPS systems work great if the user chooses the correct address and just an FYI– there isn’t a Starbucks to be found between Covington, LA and Jackson, MS– at least not the way we came home.

Enough rambling and on to the images. A few details to start. Just keep scrolling there are quite a few!

Thanks again Merilee+Faris– I hope you are enjoying FL!

Is Merilee not a stunning bride!!??
