So, I have been thinking how I really need to get better at this blogging thing, more consistent I mean. Life stays busy. When Emma is awake I can hardly have a complete thought before I am pulling her away from something she isn’t supposed to be getting into-like right now. As I type this she is pulling books and picture frames off of a side table in our guest bedroom (which doubles as an office space). Most days I feel like I am following a little tornado around, as she seems to destroy everything in her path.
Though being a mom can be really exhausting (I have become more and more appreciative of all my mother has done as each day that I am a mother passes) I am so thankful for the many blessing God has given me. What a blessing to be able to stay at home with Emma but also pursue my passion of photography, and have a husband that is so supportive of me following my dreams, although some days I think he thinks I am a nut case. Most days I feel like I am doing a balancing act and that there aren’t enough hours in the day, but who doesn’t in our crazy, fast paced world!?
As I have officially launched my photography business these past couple of months I have been so thankful for all the work the Lord has sent my way and the brides that are emailing to ask about me photographing their weddings. It has been so fun to see my dreams slowly coming a reality! Lord, may you receive all the glory!
